Redeveloped costly Advertising Information Management web application that was completely unusable.
Accomplishments -
Conducted task analysis, gathered requirements and established use cases. Innovative DHTML designed tabular pages function according to the Excel spreadsheet model. Web application became quick and useable (user comment: "I think Im in love."). URI TV ad spot buyers can allocate international TV ad campaign budgets. They can also send RFPs out to TV stations, world-wide. The stations, in turn, use the system to allocate and tabulate prospective TV spots and submit the plan back to URI spot buyers. Features editable, calculating spreadsheets synchronized with other tabbed sheets on the same web page.
RFP creation (Internet Explorer, PC-only):
A detailed RFP can be created and sent to individual stations for planning. Adjusting number of spots, cost, number of viewers or target percentage updates cell data throughout the page and it's "sheets" (DHTML layers.)
