Hi

My company has starts to cut cost which worried me. Hence I do need some advises from anyone who can help me for my casting.

01) Is it wise to ask I-Ching on my next job if I changed after my birthday? I got No. 32 with no changing line.

02) Will I be able to find an ideal job and company which suits me for my next job? I got No. 53 (changing line 2 & 6) to No. 48.

03) Will I have the chance to go back to my previous company to work? I got No. 50 with no changing line.

04) Is it wise to go back to my previous company to work if there is vacancy? I got No. 1 (changing line 2, 4 & 6) to No. 63.

I have a friend who casted the following question as she is worry that her senior will leave the company.

01) Will Irene leave the company soon? She got a No. 8 (changing line 2, 4 & 6) to No. 6.

I am sorry for my many questions.. Appreciate someone who can help me.

Hi Alfreda , Heres my take , q 1 , hex 32 I think the advice here is to "not be swayed" , q2 , yes but not straight away , the moving sixth line may suggests you are competent at what you do , so yes it is likely . q3 Hexagram 50 yes I think the possibility will be there but a better chance may occur elsewhere , partly because of the answer to q4 which I think shows great potential ( Hexagram 1 , kind of fizzling out Hexagram 63 ) best to wait if you can . as for the last question , I think using "soon" is a bit too vague , and the resulting hexagram 6 might reflect this , hexagram 8 may suggest asking again a rephrased question . Perhaps someone else can get more out of the last answer , hope so . TT

For q1, I still unable to figure on the advise. Could you please enlighten me?

As for q3, it means I do have the chance to go back to my previous company but however there might be a better company which suits me (link to q2)?

For the last q, it really giving my friend and I no clue on how to rephrase the q. My 'soon' is actually referring to within these few months. Could you advise me on how to rephrase?

Hi Alfreda , On a second look at question , I think the answer youre getting is refering to the very first part of the question " is it wise to ask I Ching ? and the answer is "yes it is ok to ask about the next job" , hope that makes sense . The answer to question 2 was Gradual progress which suggests its best to take your time , a new chance may come along , and hexagram 1 is good to . To rephrase the last question you could try , "Is Irene likely to leave the company before September the first ?" or Would it be advantagous for Irene to look for a new job ?

For the last qn, my friend casted that
Is Irene likely to leave the company before 1st of September?
She got a No. 30 and changing line 2 & 5 into No. 1

Tin Tin, for her qn, she wrote only 1st of September but did not write 2010, is it okay for that?

Hi , , Can I conclude that I am able to start finding job now but to take my time as new chance will arrives? yes , well thats how I would read it . the answer to your second question , some worry, good fortune though (6 in the 5th of hexagram 30) becoming hexagram 1 , again looks like no need to worry , good fortune will come in its own time .

Hi alfreda , The moving line in the fith place I have seen described as "a lack of enthusiasm" as the resulting hexagram "following" is occuring it seems like you should continue to follow your circumstances , if you've got other options theres no harm in asking about them , though I dont think your current position will get worse than it is now , may even improve where you are Hexagram 17 is quite favourable.

After hearing it, I am blur with my goal setting for my career. Hence I casted the following question.

01) Is it wise to ask I-ching whether am I on the right track of the goal setting I set for my career? I got No. 17 (changing line 1 & 3) to No. 31.

Hex 31 seems to be a good answer. however I am struck with the meaning of Influence.

Hi alfreda , I think "influence" probalbly means you should wait for an infuence upon you from outside , its usually about being receptive rather than active , the first Hexagram 17 moving first and third is good so there doesnt seem to be a problem with what your goals are . Sometimes a direct question to the I Ching is good as in "should I travel to town today?" providing you are prepared for if the answer is negative , I usually use "would I be wise to ask about" type questions if the subject is one where a vague answer would be preferable , big life decisions etc , if you add "at this time" to a question it allows for events changing , and that a similiar question could be asked again later . hope that helps .
